I used to fight about using a hearing aid because I knew if it helped me, I would need another surgery. That wasn’t what was best for me. I chose to have surgery to implant a Bone-Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) when I was 15 after realizing how much it would help me. That's choosing courage over fear. 👊
When you're faced with the unknown and overwhelmed, remind yourself of how strong you are. Remind yourself of everything you've overcome before. 💪
Self-confidence is when you have the courage to make decisions that are good for you, regardless of what anyone else thinks. ✌️
