Peter Dankelson
Guitarist Peter Dankelson founded the original Chicago-based Pete's Diary band. The trio released their All Screwed Up EP in 2022 followed by their Keep On Rockin' album in 2024. The original tracks reflect Dankelson's AC/DC, GNR, Van Halen, and Gary Moore influences. The band split up at the end of 2024.
Dankelson's guitar playing currently inspires nearly a million social media followers on multiple platforms. He is working to form a new band or to join an existing group and tour. Peter is available to travel worldwide and eager to connect in person with his social media fans. He has performed with many professional bands and artists and was featured in the May 2023 issue of Guitar World Magazine.
The Pete's Diary name evolved from Peter's medical diary and motivational speaking. Often referred to as "Angus Jr," Dankelson taught himself to play guitar despite hearing loss, disabilities on his fretting hand, and almost 40 reconstructive surgeries to overcome Goldenhar Syndrome. His autobiography, How I Learned to Rock My Life, is an Amazon bestseller.
