Today was the quietest day I’ve had in the NICU. It’s nice they gave me a break because today is a big milestone. It's my one-week birthday!
My blood pressure, oxygen level, and heart rate all looked good, so the doctor's didn't make any adjustments. I didn’t have any morphine or sedative drugs today either. Mommy and Daddy are a little worried that I’m still not moving around even though I've been off the pain killers that knock me out. I moved my legs quite a bit and made some funny facial expressions, but I still didn’t open my eyes or poop. If I haven’t done some business by tomorrow, I’m getting another suppository.
Everyone just needs to understand how much work it is for me to grow right now. It’s exhausting, so I sleep almost all the time!
